A sugar free jam that is wonderful on pancakes or waffles
As you can probably tell, I don’t use my blender to make this jam most of the time. I love my jam chunky. Usually I just put the strawberries into a zip lock bag and smash them all up. Then I add the chia seeds, which are so so good for you, and the sweetener and its good to go. If you like more “jam” like consistency by then blend them up. Just not too much, leave some chunks of strawberries…you’ll thank me later.
This is the perfect recipe to use RAW honey. You aren’t heating it up to destroy some of the nutritional properties. If you don’t have raw honey, of course regular honey, or stevia, monk fruit sweetener works great too.
