You don’t have to buy expensive Gluten-free flour. Just mix up your own… and I have found it works better than the store bought gluten-free flour anyway.
Feel free to mix up the flours a bit with this recipe. I don’t make it the same way twice. Play with it, see what you like and what works for you.
Remember its important to add 1 tsp. xanthan gum to every 1 C. of flour mix. It helps to bind things together. Most of my recipes I will add this as one of the ingredients but just remember you need to add it when using this recipe for your gluten-free flour replacement.
Gluten-free Flour Mix
A wonderful mix! Remember to add 1 tsp. xanthan gum for every 1 c. of flour you use.
Ingredients
- 2 C. Brown Rice Flour
- 1 C. Millet Flour
- 1 C. Sorghum Flour
- 1/4 C. Coconut Flour
- 1 1/2 C. Tapioca Flour
- 1 C. Potato Flour
- 1 C. Flour of your Choice (Some Suggestions: White Rice, Garbanzo Bean, Almond, or more brown rice)
- 1 tsp. Xanthan Gum should be added for every 1 C. of flour mix used.
Instructions
- Mix together and put into an air tight container.
