5 grains, applesauce for sweetness, gluten-free, sugar-free, dairy-free fluffy delicious pancake!
These are always a big hit! I love this recipe because of all the variety of grains. You get different nutrition from the different food you eat. It only makes sense that it is import to eat a variety. To be honest, I’m not totally gluten-free, its just that in the American diet, it seems like everything is made out of wheat. I have found that for me personally, I do better when I avoid gluten. But even if you don’t have a problem eating gluten, add some gluten free recipes into your diet. All those different grains will do you some good!
You can top with all natural maple syrup, or Strawberry Chia Seed Jam, or Blueberry sauce, or just some fresh fruit.
My husband loves these pancakes and he will use them as a bread. I put the leftovers into a freezer ziplock bag and put them in the freezer. If I’m not home or he needs a quick meal, he will microwave 2 and make a peanut butter sandwich! Sometimes eating healthy is thinking outside the box.
